Fresh limes from your own backyard beat anything you can buy at the store. Our lime collection covers the classics and a few specialty favorites, all grown to thrive in California and the Southwest's warm climates.

Start with the Bearss lime, the big, juicy, nearly seedless grocery-store lime, or the Mexican Key lime, the small, aromatic tree behind real key lime pie and margaritas. Both come in compact dwarf versions that do well in containers on patios and balconies. For something different, try the Australian finger lime ("citrus caviar").

Limes are among the easiest citrus to grow in a pot, and most varieties fruit nearly year-round in warm climates.
