Blueberry Plant

Blueberry Plant

Product description

Pick your own sweet, antioxidant-rich blueberries from a plant bred for mild-winter California gardens. Southern highbush blueberries need far less winter chill than traditional types, so they fruit well in Southern California, and they make beautiful, compact shrubs for the garden or a patio pot.

Blueberries grow best in acidic soil, in full sun, and are very happy in containers, where it’s easy to control the soil. Plant two varieties for the biggest crops. Ripening depends on the variety, with early types ready in late spring.
