Zutano Avocado Tree

Zutano Avocado Tree

A tough, dependable avocado, the Zutano is one of the most cold-tolerant and consistent producers you can grow. It bears reliably year after year, with pear-shaped fruit, glossy yellow-green skin, and a light, mild flavor.

Its real strength is as a pollination partner. Zutano is a Type B flower, which makes it a good match to plant near Type A trees like Hass, Reed, and Lamb Hass to help them set more fruit. It ripens in winter, filling in your harvest between the summer and fall varieties.

Why You’ll Love It

• Cold-tolerant and reliable, a consistent producer year after year
• Great pollinator for Hass, Reed, and Lamb Hass
• Winter harvest, with fruit when most others are done
• Light, mild flavor, good for salads and sandwiches
