Black Mission fig tree

Black Mission Fig Tree

A true California classic, the Black Mission Fig produces large, purple-black figs with rich pink-red flesh and a deep, honey-sweet, jammy flavor. Eat them fresh off the tree, pair them with cheese, or dry them for later.

This tree often gives two crops a year: a light early-summer crop, then the main harvest from late summer into fall. It is also self-fruitful, so one tree is all you need.

Why You’ll Love It

• Large, rich, honey-sweet figs with deep red flesh
• Two crops possible: early summer and late summer into fall
• Self-fruitful, so no second tree is needed
• Low-maintenance once established, and a beautiful, broad shade tree
