Red Dragon Fruit Vine

Red Dragon Fruit Vine (Pitaya)

Product description

Grow a red-skinned dragon fruit with deep red, sweet, succulent flesh and lots of soft, edible seeds. This is the classic pitaya vine, a climbing cactus with bold, bright fruit that looks as striking in the garden as it does on the plate.

Red Dragon Fruit loves warm weather and full sun, and does well in California and the Southwest. Give it well-draining, loose soil and a sturdy trellis or post to climb. It’s a great fit for patios, containers, and sunny backyards, and a fun, unusual fruit to grow at home.
