Brown Turkey Fig Tree

Brown Turkey Fig Tree

A reliable, easy-to-grow fig, the Brown Turkey produces large fruit with purple-brown skin and pink flesh that’s sweet and rich. It’s great for fresh eating, and it’s one of the most dependable figs for home gardens.

This tree is self-fruitful, so one is all you need, and its low chill needs suit mild Southern California winters. You can look for a light early-summer crop, then the main harvest from late summer into fall. It’s a manageable tree that you can prune to any shape.
